Akiba or Akihabara district not only is the holy ground of otaku, but also plays important role in JFGC. The legend of young Daigo Umehara started here 20 years ago (as you probably already read from his manga). A fighting game location test usually takes place here. And you'll see even more fighting game event here after the opening of e-sports cafe early this year.
Akiba's Trip is an adventure game set in virtual Akihabara district so this's one of the best opportunities to get to know and navigate the place without having to actually go there.
(Note that the English version of this game is already released on PS3 and Vita, and will be released on PS4 this Holiday season.)
